Terms of Service.

By accessing our website or engaging Ceylonese Traveller's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

All travel bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Ceylonese Traveller. A booking is confirmed only when you have received written confirmation from us.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance is due as agreed in your booking confirmation. Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.

All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated and are subject to change until your booking is confirmed.

If you cancel a confirmed booking, cancellation charges apply as follows: cancellations made more than 30 days before departure — deposit forfeited; 15–30 days before departure — 50% of total cost; fewer than 15 days before departure — 100% of total cost.

Ceylonese Traveller reserves the right to cancel or modify tours due to insufficient numbers, force majeure, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will offer an alternative or a full refund of amounts paid to us.

It is your responsibility to ensure you hold a valid passport, appropriate visas, and any other travel documents required for your journey. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellation, and personal liability.

Ceylonese Traveller accepts no liability for loss or additional costs arising from inadequate documentation.

Ceylonese Traveller acts as a travel organiser and in some cases as an agent for hotels, airlines, and other service providers. We take responsibility for our own negligence but are not liable for acts or omissions of third-party suppliers.

Our liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the relevant portion of your tour. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of enjoyment, or costs arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

You agree to behave in a manner that is respectful to local cultures, wildlife, and other travellers. You agree to follow the guidance of guides and drivers at all times for safety reasons.

You are responsible for any damage caused to accommodation or vehicles through your own negligence.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
